Plant Tissue Culture: Scientific Way To Produce New Breeds of Plants

Flora research incorporate growing new plants breeds in a scientific way (not natural). This is performed through the process known as plant tissue culture media.

In this method, tiny parts of plant are extracted from the root so that they will later used to cultivate many more new plants. This method is adopted for growing plants that are difficult to grow in a natural manner or that are required in much large quantity.

Naturally or hydroponically grown floras only require basic fertilizers like water, air and sun light as they are capable to develop in a natural manner and produce their own sugar, amino acids, and other required components.

The floras that are developed through plant tissue culture medium method are those of which we want exact copies in very large quantity and those from which we want to cultivate new breeds. Various media supplements are required for this process. Some of the basic supplements required are: agar powder, micro inorganic nutrient, organic nitrogen, plant growth regulator, irons and vitamins.

This is one of the highly adopted and fast methods of cultivating variety of floras that is difficult or time taken with natural procedure. This method is also adopted to control and inhibit plant diseases and infections and convert them into healthy and fresh breads.
